What’s Next? Share Your Harvest!

Whether you’re planting for the planet or for your plate, help us grow our second year! We are excited to see how your garden tastes—stay tuned for our upcoming "Herb to Table" collection.

At the library, you'll find a QR code on our new Herb Binder; simply scan it with your phone to submit your favorite family recipe using herbs grown from our exchange. If you're browsing from home, you can click here to submit your recipe and join our community cookbook project.

We can't wait to see what you're cooking! Thanks to The Garden Club of Marlton members who delved into their personal recipe collection to start us off!

Last fall, our members visited Chartwell Gardens to harvest a massive variety of seeds, which we’ve carefully packeted for you. We also partnered with the Native Plant Society, SW Chapter, at the Camden County Sustainability Campus following their seed-saving workshop. NPS-SWC donated a huge surplus of native seeds—both cleaned and ready for processing—specifically for the Evesham Library free seed binders.

These partnerships are the foundation of our Native Seed Binder and we did offer our FIRST WINTER SOWING workshop, January 2026, at the Evesham Library, under the Burlington County Library System. (BCLS).

🌿 Seed Saving Success: Evesham Library's Pilot Seed Exchange Project Takes Root!

Welcome to the heart of our library’s green initiative. Take. Grow. Share. We believe that seeds are more than just potential plants—they are the vital building blocks for our city blocks and the foundation of a thriving world.

Our mission is to nurture a local ecosystem where both gardens and gardeners can flourish. Whether you are a seasoned horticulturalist or a first-time planter, we are here to help you grow your love for the lifecycle of a seed.

This program encourages the community to add small, pollinator-friendly areas (corners, strips, or containers) to their backyards. We believe these small additions make a huge impact on essential local pollinators like birds, butterflies, and bees.
